BLYTHE HILL FIELDS PARK SIGNAGE
Signs & wayfinding design
The original park signs were illegible and the council lacked funds to replace them. I presented designs for a new sign scheme to the local community and district council that would bring to light the history, environmental impact of the park and . Through fundraising with the community we collectively funded a new set of park signs which I designed using written content from a local historian and wildlife expert. A brick making works used to operate on the site of the park, so each monolith has a different brick pattern on the lower section as well as pictures and information about the local history, wildlife and a map.
